Management of Services
(The Operator) shall operate the Car Park with a view to maximising profitability as a commercial business for the benefit of (The Company)
The Company shall set the Car Parking Rates and the Operator shall collect the charges on behalf of the Company.
The Operator shall ensure the safe operation of the Car Park and will ensure that any employees of the Operator shall perform their obligations in a safe way, conforming to the health and safety policies of the Operator.
Financial
The Parties aim to agree on the Annual Operating Budget.
The Operator will make the best effort to operate within this budget, which represents estimated revenues and costs.
All Car Park revenue is managed by the Company.
The Operator covers initial service expenses.
The Operator submits monthly invoices describing costs within five business days of month-end.
The Company shall pay these invoices within 30 days.
Reporting
The Operator provides monthly reports comparing actual financial results to the Annual Operating Budget, along with a business unit summary statement, within five business days of month-end.
Weekly revenue summaries, including the number of parked cars, charges, and total revenue, are shared with the Company in a mutually agreed format.
The Operator collaborates with the Company to identify cost-cutting options, especially when actual costs may surpass those in the Annual Operating Budget.
Monthly meetings between the Operator and the Company during the Term are held to review past month’s revenues and expenditures compared to the Annual Operating Budget. If necessary, they propose revenue enhancements and cost-saving measures for future expenses.
Management
The Operator will actively manage the car parking system on behalf of the Company.
They will ensure customer data is updated in the Auto Number Plate Recognition system daily.
The Operator will carry out traffic management duties as per agreed traffic management orders, involving communication with stakeholders.
Reporting faults related to Car Parks and data systems (excluding first-line maintenance) to the Company’s IT service desk or relevant service providers is part of their responsibility.
The Operator will address initial issues with car parking equipment.
Operational Requirement
The active management of the parking process for smooth operations and good customer experience resulting in enhanced brand strength and repeat business.
Responsibility for barrier, ticketing systems, and parking equipment including number plate recognition.
Managing wayfinding for customers to find parking spaces.
Overseeing space counting equipment and exit procedures.
Handling various payment services.
Actively managing parking operations for a smooth, customer-friendly experience.
Includes recognizing and validating vehicle registration at entrance barriers.
